We recommend spritzing 70% Isopropyl Alcohol (rubbing alcohol) on the attachment head(s) or soaking your micro-roller attachment head(s) in 70% Isopropyl Alcohol for at least 60 seconds after each use (we recommend 5 minutes).
★ Do not soak the handle of your device: make sure to remove your attachment head before each cleaning.

Easy! Hold down on the circular "button" on the neck of the handle and pull the attachment head off of the handle while holding that button down! Yay, now time to sanitize that head!

Hey love! Our Micro-Rollers have 1mm needles, so we recommend using yours once a week (gently) or once every 10-14 days if you have sensitive skin. If you feel like you may be using your Micro-Roller incorrectly, refer back to our FAQ for a brief how-to vid ♥
Great question! It is not recommended to use Retinol directly after using your microneedle roller. If Retinol or Retin-A is a part of your skincare routine, we recommend waiting about 24 hours after using your microneedle roller, or until redness disappears to apply Retinol or Retin-A to your skin. Happy self-caring!
This is a common one and we are so happy you asked! It's not recommended to use any products containing Beta Hydroxy Acid or Alpha Hydroxy Acids for at least 24 hours after using your microneedle roller. We recommend you use gentle moisturizers or facial oils post microneedling. Your skin will absorb products much better after microneedling, so you won't need to use as much product!

It's totally normal for your skin to be red after you've had a microneedling treatment, but the majority of the redness should subside within 24 hours.

We hope your purchase with us is exactly what you had hoped for and fits perfectly! If for some reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, we ask that you ship the item back to us under the guidelines listed below, and we will gladly issue a store credit. We do our very best to photograph items showing their accurate colors and patterns and add sizing info in descriptions. We are not responsible however for slight color variances based on your monitor or screen.
Please inspect your item/s immediately. If you believe you have received DEFECTIVE merchandise, you must contact us within 3 days from the time of purchase at melissa@melissajeanboutique.com so we may address the issue. We inspect all returns and reserve the right to deny or refuse them if they do not meet up to our terms.
For online orders: Returns must be received within 14 business days of receiving the order to qualify for a store credit. All returns are accepted only if the merchandise arrives in its original condition with tags intact, including the original invoice. It is helpful to us if you notate on the form your reason for returning. Items cannot be worn, washed, damaged, altered, smell of smoke, or contain animal hair, stains, etc.
*If we do not receive the returned merchandise within 14 days, the return will not be accepted and you will be responsible for the shipping costs to mail it back to you. We will not hold any returned unclaimed merchandise past 30 days from receiving it, if you choose to not have it shipped back to you. Melissa Jean Boutique will donate any denied returns to a local charity if they are not claimed within 30 days.
