RETURN POLICY

Melissa Jean Boutique sells quality merchandise and strives to give our customers 100% satisfaction along with excellent customer service. We carefully inspect each item before it leaves our door. We hope your purchase with us is exactly what you had hoped for and fits perfectly! If for some reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, we ask that you ship the item back to us under the guidelines listed below, and we will gladly issue a store credit. We do our very best to photograph items showing their accurate colors and patterns and add sizing info in descriptions. We are not responsible however for slight color variances based on your monitor or screen.

Please inspect your item/s immediately. If you believe you have received DEFECTIVE merchandise, you must contact us within 3 days from the time of purchase at 630-636-7284 or email melissa@melissajeanboutique.com so we may address the issue. We inspect all returns and reserve the right to deny or refuse them if they do not meet up to our terms.

For online orders: Returns must be received within 14 business days of receiving the order to qualify for a store credit. All returns are accepted only if the merchandise arrives in its original condition with tags intact, including the original invoice. It is helpful to us if you notate on the form your reason for returning. Items cannot be worn, washed, damaged, altered, smell of smoke, or contain animal hair, stains, etc.  

*If we do not receive the returned merchandise within 14 days, the return will not be accepted and you will be responsible for the shipping costs to mail it back to you. We will not hold any returned unclaimed merchandise past 30 days from receiving it, if you choose to not have it shipped back to you. Melissa Jean Boutique will donate any denied returns to a local charity if they are not claimed within 30 days. 

  • We are not held responsible for any returns that may be lost or damaged in transit.

Online Returns are processed within 3-6 business days from receiving them. We will issue a store credit for all returned merchandise, minus the initial shipping charges.  Melissa Jean Boutique is not responsible for the return shipping charges. 

EXCHANGES:

Please note that an exchange is only available for the EXACT SAME ITEM in a different size. Sometimes our items can sell out very quickly, so ACT FAST! If your item is not available in the size you need, we will not be able to issue an exchange. You will want to refer to our RETURNS instructions.

Final Sale Items are not eligible to be returned and cannot be exchanged.

Your exchange must be made within 14 days of the original purchase date.

Your returned item must meet all of the requirements stated in this policy to be eligible for the exchange.

Please place a NEW ORDER for the correct size of the very same item.

Ship you return item back to us along with the Invoice or Packing slip with your new order # referenced on the slip, and we will process a refund to your credit card. (shipping address is stated below).

All clearance, last chance and sale items are FINAL sale. All sales are final on earrings, seamless items, basics (bras, camisoles, under garments, slips) socks, scarves, leggings, swimwear, eyewear, and hair accessories including hats and headbands.

PRICE ADJUSTMENTS: Melissa Jean Boutique does not offer price adjustments on any previously purchased items.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

Once we have received an order, we are busy processing it and getting it prepared for shipment rather quickly, so we do not allow any orders to be cancelled once they have been placed.
